Support Your Team... Go the Blues!

We're now one game down in the 2014 State of Origin... and the Blues have defeated QLD 12-8! 

The second game will be played in NSW on Wednesday 18th June 

and the final will be played on Wednesday 9th July. 

....So that means if you weren't getting into the spirit and supporting your team 

as much as you could have for Game 1, there's still 2 to go!

Want to decorate your home or work place in blue (or maroon)? Well we've got you covered there too, with streamers, tablecovers, tableware, banners and balloons. 

From small table centrepieces to large arches, columns and bouquets, you can pick up from the store or we can deliver and set up so all you have to do is make sure the beers are in the fridge!

Well here we are in Padstow in our new shop. 

We survived the first 2 months of moving in and setting up. Phew! 

We haven't had a lot of sleep but we're all up and running again and we had a fantastic grand opening weekend at the end of June to celebrate.

We're so happy to see so many familiar faces of regular clients from Panania finding us at our new shop in Padstow, and also so many new faces coming in to welcome us to the Padstow neighbourhood.

Balloon Fashion

 

Our very own Certified Balloon Artist (also known in the balloon industry as a CBA), Claire, attended the Magique Halloween Party on Saturday at Luna Park Sydney. It's a compulsory dress up party where guests take great pride in their costumes and their attention to detail. Claire is no exception. What could she wear that would amaze, excite and fascinate the other guests, without being something that 

everyone has seen before?

A dress that's made entirely from.... that's it you guessed it.... BALLOONS!!!

With help from fellow CBA, Beth Boynton from Balloonique Designs in Blacktown, 

Claire created her very first balloon dress to wear to Magique.The process took around 7 hours the night before the party. A lot of hard work, but the end result was worth it! So many guests commented on how impressed they were and plenty of them couldn't quite believe that the dress was made from twisted balloons (a little bit like how balloon animals are made).

Gumball Balloons

Tower Columns

One of our World Balloon Convention inspired designs is Tower Columns. 

This includes one large foil super shape balloon on top and latex balloons in various sizes to form a column. A great new way of achieving a column look without needing a heavy base or poles, which can be for either room decor for functions or gift deliveries at very affordable prices. Simply modify the colours and shape balloon on top to suit your own taste and theme. 

These look fantastic with various animals on top and coordinating printed latex balloons, 

for Under the Sea parties or Jungle Parties. The possibilities are endless!

Panania Village Festival

Enjoy a great family day out on Saturday 10th September 9am - 3pm on Anderson Ave & Tower St in Panania. The day will include market stalls, specials in local stores, food vendors, free childrens jumping castle & petting zoo, free face painting, free kids activities at Panania library & street performers & artists.

Keep a look out in the Torch Newspaper for more details of participating businesses & a schedule of Festival events. We will be involved in decorating the event with balloons & will also be giving out helium balloons on the day. There will also be plenty of discounted products in store! So don't miss out!
